Art Tips
Use simple open designs and let the metallic rainbow material shine. Four-color process printing complements the spectrum of colors. The only ink colors that will fully block the iridescent diffuser pattern include black and white. Use white ink to increase opacity behind your graphics if you don’t want the rainbow effect to come through. The image at right provides an example of how to use white ink successfully on this material. We backed the wood of the TV console and bottom portion of the screen in white ink to negate the metallic rainbow effect. Conversely, the rainbow pattern on the screen and hardware elements on the TV allow the iridescent colors of the material to shine through, drawing attention to the art.
