Art Tips
Use simple, bold designs to let the glitter effect shine through. Four-color process printing complements the sparkle, while black and white inks can enhance opacity where needed. For optimal results, white ink can be used behind graphics to prevent the glitter from showing through, allowing for crisp, clear designs. The image at right provides an example of how to use white ink on this material. We backed the rainbow and cassette information in white ink to negate the holographic glitter effect. The outer portion of the cassette and the tape reels allow the pattern to shine through the translucent digital ink.
